Bettina Brinkmann

Bettina Brinkmann
Co-President

Dr. Bettina Brinkmann has a PhD in Philosophy and worked subsequently for several international media houses such as, Bertelsmann, the RTL group and Disney before joining the public institution ZDF in Germany and later the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva, where she was in charge of the entire TV area within the media department. She is on the board of a technology company in the US and co-founded a Think Tank for the food system. She has been active in the field of animal welfare for over 20 years and was, among other activities, on the board of KAG Freiland and has been co-president of GAL since April 2021.

Paul Tweddell

Paul Twedell
Solicitor, UNCAHP Project Manager and Head of GAL Asia Pacific

Graduated in Law (LLB) and Applied Finance (BAppFin) at Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Prior to joining GAL, Paul worked at law firms in corporate law and immigration law, followed by working in animal welfare and protection at various organisations, international and local.

Alexander Ferrari studied law at the University of Lucerne (Bachelor of Laws) and Zurich (Master of Laws). After a legal internship at a law firm, he joined GALand is now preparing for his bar exam.
