The animal abuse registry purpose is to collect data on animal cruelty and be better able to prevent acts of cruelty by perpretrators. It includes the names, photos, birth dates and home addresses of people who have been convicted of animal abuse.
People on the registry can not adopt animals.
Such a registry should exist in every district (whether a state, province, territory, canton, department etc.) of every country worldwide.
NB: The registry may be beneficial to people as well as animals -noting the
link between animal abuse and violence against humans.
