Alex Bruce
A/Professor of Law at the Australian National University
Dr. Alex Bruce is an A/Professor of Law at the Australian National University and a Buddhist monk ordained into the Tibetan tradition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Alex teaches Competition and Consumer Law as well as Animals and the Law. He has written leading books in all three areas of law and his PhD thesis investigated how Australian Competition and Consumer Policy might benefit animals. Alex is currently completing a second PhD, in the field of Comparative Theology. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
