Professor Peter Fitzgerald, J.D. In Law, was a real pioneer in teaching international animal Law at Stetson Law school, Tampa University, Florida (USA).
As a specialist in domestic and international commercial law and policy, with an additional interest in animal law, Professor Fitzgerald's newest book is International Issues in Animal Law.
Professor Fitzgerald also served as a visiting academic advisor to the Law Commission of England & Wales working on wildlife law reform. Previously, he was a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University's Lauterpacht Centre for International Law, a MacCormick Fellow at the University of Edinburgh School of Law, and a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar to the United Kingdom.
