Alice Collinson

Alice obtained her LLB from the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University, and a BA in History and Philosophy from Leeds University. Following 6 years in civil litigation with Russell-Cooke LLP and Alan Edwards & Co in London, she received the Animal Law Ambassador Award from Lewis and Clark Law School and completed her Animal Law LLM studies in 2017, as the first UK candidate. Alice is a freelance legal consultant, and the UK Centre for Animal Law's Academic & Student Coordinator.
She is interested in all areas of animal law, having carried out a spread of NGO work, but is particularly interested in legislation and policy surrounding human/wildlife conflict. She recently worked with wildlife protection NGOs in Kenya.
